Since 2012, Mitland Meetings is in possession of a Golden Green Key. This certificate is an internationally recognised eco-label for companies that are seriously and verifiably involved with sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

Mitland Meetings can rightly be called one of the greenest locations in Utrecht. Not only because it is located at a beautiful park, but also because of the numerous measures taken to mitigate the impact on the environment. A significant renovation in 2006 made it a sustainable location. The roofs, for example, have been planted with sedum, which ensures natural insulation and less energy consumption. In the kitchen, a special pit for organic waste has been installed (for the generation of biogas). Mitland Meetings also has three charging points for six electric cars.

Family business

Mitland Meetings is a family business run by four brothers (Bert, Rob, Frank and Wim Plijnaar). At Mitland Meetings, guest-orientation and service are of paramount importance. Despite the size of the company, the 'family feeling’ is kept alive. We would like to welcome you at Mitland Meetings to experience this for yourself.

Personally hospitality

Without a host, there is no warm welcome. Our specialised team of room managers is always at your disposal during your meeting, event or conference to guarantee a successful day. They will be happy to meet you.
